Course Info

Welcome to the PADI Fish Identification Specialty course. What was that fish with the big tail and orange stripes? During this course, you will learn not only how to identify single fish species but also start learning about fish families, which will make identifying them that much easier. This is a fun course where you will learn all about fish species in the region and around the world. It is very informative and will add a new dimension to your diving experiences.

Schedule

Day 1:
09:00 – Knowledge Development
09:00 - 12:30 OR 13:30 - 17:30 – Boat Dives (meeting time is 1 hour before)

Book Learning

Our classroom is fitted with a TV as well as a whiteboard with all the training materials necessary for effective learning. In the classroom is where most of our theory takes place.

When doing book-based learning, it should be noted that that depending on student progress, an extra day may be added to the duration of the course.

Ocean Dives

Our ocean training dives are split between two different dive types, boat diving, and shore diving. This gives us a unique opportunity, it affords us a varied training experience, building students' confidence with different entry styles and diving techniques.

Our boat dives visit the many dive sites along the coast, all varying in-depth and marine life. The shore dives are done around Snoopy Island which is bursting with corals and marine life. We regularly spot turtles and black-tip reef sharks on Snoopy Island
