Emergency First Responder Instructor

Welcome and congratulations on deciding to start your Emergency First Responder Instructor course! Thank you for choosing to do your course with us, we look forward to teaching and guiding you on your way to becoming an EFR Instructor. This course is a per-requisite to becoming a PADI Open Water Instructor. During the course you will learn how to teach EFR for Adults, Care for Children, AED and CPR. This is a performance based course which will develop you EFR knowledge and skills. You will be evaluated on your demonstration ability and EFR course knowledge. Throughout the course if you have any questions or queries please don’t hesitate to ask any member of our team.

Knowledge Development: 4 Knowledge reviews and final exam
Practical application duration: 2 days

The Emergency First Responder Instructor course consists of two phases:

1. Knowledge development

  • Self-Study
  • Final Exam
  • Classroom Presentations on the EFR Instruction system

2. Practical Application

  • 2 Presentations from Primary and Secondary Care
  • 1 Presentation from Care for Children
  • Skills evaluation
